Welcome to lampitoc.com
Born in the Philippines,
Rol P. Lampitoc came to Canada with his entire family in 1972.
Already a renown artist in the Philippines, Rol
had a fresh start in Canada. Since then, Rol established a career
with international stature. His works have been exhibited in Manila,
Tokyo, New York, Detroit, Chicago, Ottawa, Montreal, Windsor, Collingwood,
Amhertsburg and Toronto which includes Cedar Ridge Creative Centre
through the auspices of Arts Scarborough (now the Scarborough Arts
Council).
Today, his paintings can be found in the collections
of colleges and universities, corporate boardrooms, the Serbian
Orthodox Church, the Scarborough Centenary Hospital (now known as
the Centenary Health Centre) and in many personal collections. A
First Prize for mixed media from the Blue Mountain Foundation for
the Arts in Collingwood, a Certificate of Merit from the elite Portrait
Club of New York, a First Prize from the Pastel Society of Canada,
and Medals of Excellence from the Art Association of the Philippines
are among the many acknowledgements Rol treasures.
